Dr. Joshua Mijares

Dr. Joshua Mijares received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2020. Between 2005 and 2012, Dr. Mijares attended the University of Texas and the University of Texas at San Antonio for his undergraduate studies, where he triple majored in Economics, Biochemistry, and Chemistry. He remains an avid UT football fan and a longhorn through and through – HOOK EM! With his background so deeply rooted in chemistry, Dr. Mijares was eager to delve into the world of dental technology. He proudly brings the most comprehensive and up-to-date diagnostic software and state-of-the-art crown milling to his office. As newer technology emerges, Dr. Mijares hopes to completely revolutionize the everyday dental experience.

Dr. Mijares has received advanced training in Cosmetic, Restorative, Endodontics, and Prosthodontic Dentistry. Dr. Mijares is an Invisalign-certified dentist and a member of the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association. “I am excited to join the Park Hill Dental team to provide friendly, quality care to each and every one of my patients. Attention to detail and listening to my patients enable me to provide a personalized dental experience that addresses their concerns, needs, and wants. I love taking care of my patients like they are my own family, and my gentle touch and friendly demeanor are the aspects of my dentistry that my patients love the most.”

Dr. Mijares met his wife, Krista, in a summer dental program at UTHSCSA. The two remained in school together, where she became an ICU Nurse and later studied to become a Nurse Practitioner. The nursing community and first responders of San Antonio remain extremely close to their hearts! Of all their accomplishments, they are most proud to be the parents of 3 beautiful children – Khloe, Kamila, and Jude.

Dr. Jon Greene

Dr. Greene completed his undergraduate studies at Baylor University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a minor in chemistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Additionally, Dr. Greene completed a 13-month advanced education in general dentistry residency through The University of Texas Health Science Center, where he received training in oral surgery, implant procedures, and oral and intravenous sedation. Today, Dr. Greene has 12 years of experience and can extract wisdom teeth and other permanent teeth (if needed) as well as perform other minor dental surgeries. Dr. Greene utilizes the latest anesthetic methods, including IV sedation, which keeps anxiety and discomfort to a minimum. He is passionate about providing his patients with safe, relaxing, and convenient dental care.

Dr. Greene’s wife, Lauren, is also a dentist who specializes in pediatrics. They have three young boys who keep them very busy, and he enjoys being active in their church, going out on the lake, playing golf, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Dan Kohut

Dr. Kohut earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2004. He continued on to complete a three-year surgical residency in periodontology at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, where he was chief resident and recipient of the Fishman Award.

This advanced training certified him to practice as a specialist in periodontics and implantology. Upon completion of specialty training, Dr. Kohut obtained Diplomate status with the American Board of Periodontology, a recognized specialty of the American Dental Association.
